This dress is on fire and it would look great on you! Unless you’ve been living under a rock or not following my social medias and blog (shame on you! Get on it, lovers!) you should know that I was recently in Europe. But in a different kind of Europe, the Baltic side of Europe. And trust me when I say that it is different, but this blog isn’t about my fun times and experience there, there will be a whole write up and videos on that, this blog is about this feminine, gorge, red dress that I got to wear to the Sleeping Beauty ballet.
There is no way I would go to Riga and not go to the opera or ballet. There’s a somewhat funny story about this dress. When I decided that we would go to the ballet, I had purchased a completely different outfit to wear, but I ordered it too late thus it didn’t make it here on time. I saw this red dress at Zara months ago, it was on the “last chance” rack and they didn’t have my size. Regardless, the dress was always on my mind. A few months later I see they brought it back so of course I jumped on it and it fit like a glove I took it as a ‘it was meant to be’ sign, so I bought it!
It is needless to say that red is such a passionate and hot colour, it goes well with anything to do with the arts therefore wearing this dress to the ballet was a no brainer. Many people steer away from red, which is amusing because it is such a primary colour, but I find it to be not only a bombshell colour but a beautiful addition to anyone’s wardrobe. The compliments I received that evening were in all sorts of languages and gestures and I can’t wait for the next opportunity to wear this stunner. I know Zara has a few more of these dresses so get your piquant little butts out the door and get your hands on one.
